2013’s Most Valuable Professors Competition by Questia awards effective professors with scholarships in their names

Professors from California Lutheran University, Clarke University and The College of New Rochelle voted college students’ favorite instructors in the nation

This spring, college students from around the country were given the rare opportunity to nominate and vote for their Most Valuable Professor. Today, with a combined total of over 2,500 votes, the three winners are announced. Congratulations to:

In the summer, we at Questia announced the winner of the first “Questia’s Most Valuable Professor” contest, as part of our ongoing dedication to education. College students from across the country nominated special professors they believed deserved the title of Most Valuable Professor (MVP). For the grand prize, we pledged to establish three $2,500 scholarships in the winning professor’s name, and our winner earned the duty of determining the scholarship criteria and ultimately selecting the scholarship recipients.

Most Valuable Professor scholarship coming soon: Julia Corine Barnes Scholarship by Questia

In April of this year, we at Questia excitedly introduced our first ever national scholarship competition, “Questia’s Most Valuable Professor.” College students from all around the country nominated their favorite professor by telling us why this person deserved to be named Most Valuable Professor. For the grand prize, Questia, the premier online research and paper-writing tool for students, agreed to establish three $2,500 scholarships in the winning professor’s name, and the reigning professor got to be part of the integral team determining the scholarship criteria and ultimately selecting the scholarship recipients.
