Now accepting applications for The MVP Scholarships by Questia!

The Most Valuable Professors

In the spring, we at Questia announced the winners of the third “Questia’s Most Valuable Professors” contest, as part of our ongoing dedication to education. College students from across the country nominated special professors they believed deserved the title of Most Valuable Professor (MVP).

For the grand prize, we pledged to establish five $500 scholarships in each of the winning professors’ names. Those winners have earned the responsibility of selecting the scholarship criteria and selecting the scholarship recipients.

After much anticipation, the time to apply for The Most Valuable Professors Scholarships by Questia has finally arrived!

Saving for college is never an easy feat! In “How much student loan debt is too much?” by Jon Fortenbury of USA Today, August 26, 2014, “According to a government data analysis by financial aid experts at Edvisors, the class of 2014 graduated with an average student loan debt of $33,000. And that total is on the up and up each year. Questia has elected to sponsor these scholarships to help illustrate the importance of a college education as well as the hard-working professors that facilitate higher learning.

Now it’s the students’ turn for their chance at getting their hands on one of the fifteen $500 scholarships. The scholarships are open to all students pursuing a degree in Humanities, Social Sciences or medical fields including Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and Optometry. Questia is accepting applications now through March 16th, 2015.
